ΜΠΟΔΟΣΑΚΗ - ΑΛΛΗΛΟΝ Mentoring cooperation

ΙΔΡΥΜΑ ΜΠΟΔΟΣΑΚΗ

We would like to thank all our Mentors who chose to be a part of our collaboration with the Bodosaki Foundation. The foundation is finalizing its application process and we will be announcing the final list of accepted Mentors shortly.

The Mentoring program will aim at matching ALLILON Mentors with representatives of Greek non-profit initiatives which are being supported by the Bodossaki Foundation’s capacity building initiative Social Dynamo and which have expressed a certain need for further guidance (for example, this could relate to improving the organisation’s business plan, organogram, website, communications, social media strategy, human resources management, organogram, fundraising etc).

How the collaboration works

  1. Selection of organisations: The Bodossaki Foundation selects Greek organisations to participate, based on various criteria related to their social impact and commitment to their organisational development, and conducts a due diligence process.
  2. Identification of mentoring goals: The Bodossaki Foundation assesses the organisations’ needs and helps the representatives to identify a specific goal for the mentoring (for example, this could relate to improving the organisation’s business plan, organogram, website, communications, social media strategy, human resources management, organogram, fundraising etc).
  3. Matching with mentors: The Bodossaki Foundation provides the organisations a list of mentors’ bios and asked to specify their preferred mentors (up to 3). On the basis of these preferences, we match mentors to the organisation representatives.
  4. Mentoring process: The mentors conduct one meeting per month for a period of 4 months with the matched organisation representative, i.e. four meetings in total, between October/November 2017 and January/February 2018. These meetings can take place remotely, e.g. via Skype. The meetings take place at a time that is mutually convenient to the mentor and the organisation. During the first meeting, a simple ‘action plan’ should be completed which specifies any action points for the organisation representative. We emphasise that the role of the mentor is to provide advice and it is the responsibility of the organisation representative to follow up any action points.
